The people are some of the best, the benefits are very good. Attempts at a good work/life balance. Compensation is good. Mantra is large pharma attitude in small pharma space, which they really try at. You can walk down the hallway and get to the person you need to talk to and they will talk to you, usually.
Minpunten
Not much upward mobility. No career development. Performance measurement poor/restrictive/unchecked. This can be frustrating as the years go by. The flat management levels dampen desires to excel because there are no rewards. Publishing is encouraged, but difficult due to lack of time to pursue exploratory research. Not much encouragement for scientists attending external meetings for collaborative initiatives. Stifling.
