Good for gaining basic lab experience

Minpunten

Unmanageable workload within the quality specifications so people use bad laboratory practices to survive even to the extent of falsifying data. Unsafe as the powdered soil is not pre screened for harmful chemicals or asbestos before it is ground and handled (your nostrils will be brown from inhilation). Building not suitable for the work carried out it is not temperature controlled properly and instrumentation QC samples and staff suffer as a result.

Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss. The Directors are clueless about the work the lab staff do and can't give any support or help. The MD has ruined this company and has 3 or 4 favourites who are untouchable and can get away with anything they want. Very low H&S standards across all areas, poor quality in the labs - I'm glad I'm out
