I waited a long time for a salary hike, but instead of revising my basic salary, the company pushed it into incentives/bonus, which is paid only once in six months. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a manipulative practice to avoid giving a genuine salary increase. Employees expect a proper fixed salary hike, not a disguised adjustment under incentives. This approach is not only unfair but also shows a lack of transparency and respect towards employees’ efforts and financial stability. If a company cannot deliver a straightforward salary revision after repeated delays, it clearly reflects poor management ethics and disregard for employee satisfaction.
