Pluspunten
- most of the people on the team are pretty great, friendly, open, good to work with - some decent benefits. pay felt competitive - the technical team seems talented and able to deliver to clients - a lot of good ideas are floating around (just need to get focused and executed on) - the company has some interesting opportunities and a pretty viable white space to grow into, If they can figure out their internal issues, could be pretty successful.
Minpunten
- everything is constantly changing both at the department and at the leadership level. Constantly chasing shiny objects, and not sticking to a long-term course. - poor leadership and management at the top. They don't take accountability for their own mistakes like they should, and don't lead by example. - back and forth between being micromanaged, and autonomy. One day it's "You are the expert, do what you think is best." The next day it's "here's what you should do". - I was let go from my Director position without warning. All performance reviews up to that point had been overall positive, with no direct discussion of performance improvement being brought up to me. Things felt off for a while, but I simply didn't know where I stood and was obviously never given real honest feedback. On top of that, was not given any severance. So be warned, they may not be upfront with you and no guarantee you will be treated fairly.
