Pluspunten
CEO is a humble genius who actually cares about the people, not a narcissist/egomaniac. That alone sets us apart from nearly all the rest, especially in tech. Positive and supportive environment. Competitive and aggressive—with competitors and the market, for the most part not with each other internally—and with integrity. I admired Cockroach Labs from afar and it was one of only three companies on the planet, all in the data space, I would have left my last company to join. They expect a lot of you, but they give a lot, too. And while others mouth the "work/life balance" mantra, here they actually mean it (and live it). Glad I'm here.

Sometimes I have to prod our teams to take some credit in the market for what Cockroach Labs and CockroachDB do, but I'd rather have it that way than the overpromise-underdeliver nonsense I see elsewhere.
