Minpunten
Since the last investors came in, the company's decision-making has deteriorated due to high pressure from investors, leading to decisions solely focused on numbers and neglecting the overall macro state of the business and the product. Despite being a company that sells code quality standards, it suffers greatly from extensive technical debt. This issue may stem from a lack of transparency and openness to self-assessment. Rather than acknowledging the actual problems and devising a mid-term plan to address long-standing issues previously identified by product and engineering, the company opted for a short-term approach focused on immediate gains, resulting in a loss of customer trust and branding. Unfortunately, this also led to a loss of the company's cultural identity, transitioning from a blameless environment where open dialogue was encouraged, to an atmosphere where people were afraid to speak up and pure ingenuity for code and engineering was compromised to please higher-ups.
