The top management really cares about every employee and they created great standards and culture that’s propagated into new people on board. Organization’s culture is something really unique. CodeTwo allows working with the newest tools, and great projects. There are endless opportunities. If you work hard, and listen feedback of your coworkers and managers, you’ll learn fast and will be noticed.

For some, the amount of tasks might be overwhelming, but if you like what you’re doing, it will be actually one of the positives and CodeTwo can be a place where you will be happy to be spend time.

- Micromanagement at the task level slowed delivery. - Feedback on ongoing cases was sometimes given in group settings, which felt uncomfortable; would be better 1:1. - DEI efforts had limited visible impact, and decision‑making tables lacked diverse perspectives.

Pluspunten

+ One of a very few IT companies in this town and probably the only one that does actual software development 100% in house. + Rather stable business - occupies a very specific niche with not too much competition, not only in Poland or in Europe but worldwide. + Small enough so you know everybody.

Minpunten

- Very small company but extremely bureaucratized with internal procedures on literally everything. - Owned by two brothers who always fight each other creating communication and authority problems. - The owners rarely accept third party opinions, only promoting people who always share their vision. - Run by internally sourced CEO who never worked anywhere else. Imagine the wealth of experience he brings to the table. - The CEO is more focused on using company resources to run his pet-project of supposed-to-be-a-comedy, full of dry IT humor youtube channel instead of actually growing the company. - In general, considering all the above, this creates "just do your job, don't stick your head up and laugh when your boss laughs" kind of atmosphere. - Technologically speaking, the company operates in a very niche domain. This has some advantages (see pros) but they basically risk an instant collapse of the whole business if the ecosystem they are leeching on suddenly changes. - Also, salaries below the market average. - Overly selective and too demanding recruitment process especially for developers. Disclaimer: As the company is very small and so it is very easy to identify previous employees, I will not reveal the real position name and actual years I worked there.
