The culture is not what you are told in the interview. The IT leadership is a Dictatorship. There is a belief that their experiences and opinions are right and yours are wrong. Be prepared to be lectured and corrected on how you are wrong. It took me about two weeks to know I made a mistake going to work here. I left after two months

One of the things that stands out most about CompSource Mutual is the culture. It is genuinely collaborative, supportive, and made up of people who want to see each other succeed. In a lot of workplaces, “culture” can feel like a buzzword, but here it truly feels different. There is also a strong focus on both personal and professional growth and development. Employees are encouraged to continue learning, develop new skills, share ideas, and grow in their careers. I have appreciated being in an environment that values continuous improvement and invests in its people. No workplace is perfect, but the culture and commitment to growth make this a place where people can genuinely thrive.

Minpunten

Like many workplaces, the workload can be demanding at times, and there are periods that are fast-paced. That said, leadership recognizes the importance of work/life balance and has been making meaningful strides to improve processes and leverage technology, including AI, to help create more efficiency and better support employees.

Literally the worst training I have ever received in a job. I asked for more training and was told that they were too busy. I then was penalized for not performing the task to their standards. I had coworkers that did less work than me, but were coddled because they had been there longer. They take care of their employees that have been around longer, but churned through new employees. I had a friend quit without any backup because he was so overwhelmed and overworked. I was not given an exit interview to voice my complaints to anyone there. It was the most stressful job I’ve ever had.
