empty promises to clients and staff having to deal with upset customers as their meets are not met (promise A, provide B).

Pluspunten

Connected is the type of place you want to work if you are self-motivated and enthusiastic. It has a flat management structure, with availability to all levels of the business, from the Level 1 all the way up to the CEO. It's an open door policy with a real, open door. I've found that suggestions I have made have been critically analysed and actioned where appropriate. The staff have exceptional integrity and a real "can-do" attitude. From the top down, It has been my experience that staff are encouraged to be multi-skilled, able to work on any task, from setting up a user account to installing a highly-available, business critical system. I have found management very approachable, extremely encouraging and above all, supportive. I have worked for MSP's in the past, .edu's and .gov's. I truly enjoy coming to work each day.

Minpunten

One rule I learned early in IT is the choice of three. Fast, cheap or reliable, pick two. And the same applies to the workplace. The usual cons apply to connected, customers can be hard work at times and you need to be clear on what expectations are of your work output. I've had a couple of "killer Mondays", but that's the nature of the beast. I've found the support from management to be second to none in this regard and one of the most critical aspects of my enjoyment of both the pros and cons of this workplace.

The compensation is good and you'll have hands on experience on the servers.

Minpunten

There's no formal training as to who our clients are; documentation and knowledge base are not maintained and are usually outdated hence the clients ends up suffering from time to time as outdated documentation lead to longer resolution rates. There's also no health card and salary always comes in delayed for the Manila team during the whole time I've been with the company which is for more than a year which makes me think if the management really cares if their employees gets paid on time or if they're even taking into consideration that each employee has their monthly bills to pay. Whatever happened to integrity?
