-Good sales training program, well it was when I went through it, but it changes every other month. -Manufacturer relationships are solid and managed well. -Good new technology training. -Company has deep pockets for its size. They do not have any significant debt. -Most people who work here work very hard.
Minpunten
-Zero sales leadership starting at the top. Sales companies need a leader not a bean counter. -Comp plan was first class. I had five different comp plans. They consistently got worse. -Manufacturer SPIFs are skimmed by Corp. -Employees at different locations are treated much differently. No consistent set of rewards or punishment for sales achievements or work behavior. -Part execs compensation is based on phone metrics. This has a serious impact on behavior. Multiple employees were once directly reprimanded by the president of the company for not making 60 outbound calls on a Federal holiday. Mind you these were federal sales people. It is important to understand how the people you report to are compensated as it will affect the way they interact with you. -The tools provided for order management, product info, and contact management are designed for corp sales not government. This may be more important than you think. -Beatings will continue until moral improves. This is the best description of this company.
