Minpunten
A lot of people know that this company is a crap shoot. Corporate doesn’t understand the industry at all, introducing new brands that sit on shelves, instead of buying products that people actually sell. The lack of stock is insane for stores in Canada, the amount of times my team and I told people to go to Amazon was ridiculous. As a supply store, we should have the supplies for our customers. How else are the stores going to make daily quotas? They pressure you to sell tickets for an online hair show every few months, and if you don’t sell the set amount. No raise, bad review, backlash from DM (found out it reflects on them). No one wants an online show, they want in person shows. I’m not going to ask the customers every time they come in to buy a ticket. The pressure on CCS/CCC for making colour sales in small towns is ridiculous. People are going to buy what they need, not what they want, not in this economy. Sure they save a dollar or so on quantity pricing, but no one has the money to buy hundreds of dollars worth of colour. Lack of stock in colour lines, popular lines being discontinued. The list goes on. They put pressure on you solely for colour sales and if the numbers don’t go up, you get in trouble. Not getting enough likes and followers on social media? You get in trouble. You get an 80cent raise for taking the position of CCS, and let me tell you, it’s not worth it. Plus we aren’t social media managers, and definitely don’t get paid enough to be one. Oh and don’t forget, if your store has to shut down, it’s solely your fault. (I was told that by my DM)
