Minpunten
Owner is oblivious to unhappy employees. Management handles personnel issues since there is no HR department. Lack of HR is a problem as many employees find management to be the main source of problems. Traveling/working out-of-town trade shows is mandatory although you will not be told that directly by management when you are hired. Employees are told that "you can say no", but in the same conversation, they are also reminded that they expect you to be a team player. Owner and Management make disparaging remarks about employees in the presence of other employees. Department meetings are a joke. More time is spent arguing (even yelling!) but nothing is ever properly discussed or assigned. Zero guidance is given after the first couple weeks of employment, only criticism.
