They had snacks and chips and stuff like that. Some of the people were good to work with. They hire diversely.
Minpunten
The pay here is below average, and my recent request for a raise was denied despite being the sole employee handling my workload. Juggling 13 projects at once was incredibly stressful, and the 'years of service award' felt like a slap in the face. I needed money, not a trophy. Expect constant clashes with the KC office over petty issues. There's a clear bias toward that location, and the internet connection here is too slow to be efficient. It's no wonder many employees seem checked out; the work is demanding, and the pay doesn't justify the effort. Even after surgery, there's a relentless push to return to the office, even for non-minor procedures. Remote work is a viable option for many companies, but not here. The benefits package is inadequate. Just three days of parental leave is absurd, even for a small company. And speaking of size, the company's expansion to KC suggests it's no longer so small. The vacation time is also lacking. But you know that.
