My first supervisor in IT and my boss in IT were the best! They gave me the opportunity to grow and to learn while helping me achieve the goals I wanted. IT manager would let me work from home when I needed to but the local site would cry and complain all the time about how it was unfair.

Minpunten

Once I had achieved those goals HR didn't want to pay to keep me but wanted me to devote more and more time to the company. Got so bad that I was on Food Stamps and still carrying my laptop and cell phone for the company on the short vacations I could take. 24x7 on call with no compensation.

There isn't many pros. My local team had good people in most positions.

Corporate is out of touch with the local reality. They dont care about the emplyees. Pay for hourly workers is low. Demand for same employees is very high.
