Great product, cool customers, cute office dog, snacks, nice office, and lots of learning opportunity. I found the base pay to be higher than market average, and they cover parking near the office. There’s a monthly GTM call that’s actually enjoyable. Also worth noting: while the office space is beautiful and was initially a draw, the culture around it is very performative. Showing up four days a week (minimum) and staying late are quietly but clearly rewarded more than actual results or well-being. I loved the product and my customers - I would’ve worked here for years if different people were at the top.

I took on a large, high-performing book of business and consistently delivered strong results, including 100% green program health and ~120% renewals. Of the 43 accounts I managed, only 5 were existing, personally kicked off and onboarded the other 38 within my first two quarters, all while learning the job and the product. Had I known the scope at the time of hire, I would have negotiated a more appropriate salary. When I later asked for a raise, after being given an enterprise account and significant additional scope, I came with a full presentation, metrics, and a professional proposal. I was told, “It’s not your job to ask for a raise,” and that doing so was overstepping. Despite strong performance and positive feedback from customers and peers, I was told by the cofounder, after three attempts on my end to schedule a feedback conversation, that my personality was the issue. I had previously disclosed I am neurodivergent. I was told I was “too fun” and “bubbly,” and warned I was creating a “negative brand” I’d need to recover from. When I asked for clarity, I was told, “I don’t believe it’s my job to provide you feedback.” In writing, he also told me, “We do not need or want a chief people officer or office culture champion. even if you think it’s needed or others say it is.” I was never placed on a performance plan or given formal coaching. After raising a paycheck discrepancy to HR, I was abruptly terminated—and the company quickly removed “HR” from the title of the person I reported it to. I’m still owed around $10,000 in unpaid commission. The “ramp” policy used to reduce my earnings was shared with me two days before commission was due—despite multiple requests, I’ve never received documentation. When I pushed back, I was told, “No one else has had an issue with our stance.” I replied that legal compliance isn’t a matter of stance. Still, no resolution. Additional issues: The person in charge of enablement regularly made team members feel dumb for asking basic questions, despite being the only person with the answers. I gave direct feedback and was ignored. Equity is used as a motivator, but even fully vested employees have no way to view their holdings. There’s no dashboard, just a suggestion to “reach out to the cofounder.” That’s not transparency. The beautiful office masks a culture that rewards performative presence—coming in 4 days a week and staying late gets you more credibility than delivering great work. Also worth noting: early on, I was asked by a GTM leader, on behalf of the cofounder, to leave a 5-star Glassdoor and RepVue review. I did. I later deleted it after seeing how the company actually operates. (I can't update my RepVue for a few months),
