This job was toxic; of the nuclear variety. The management group especially. The CEO uses recruiters as scapegoats and pawns. She would first gaslight recruiters into thinking they were not valuable to the company then the next day the CEO would claim they were the best thing to ever happen. There was no fraternizing in or outside the office with coworkers (or at least it was strongly discouraged by the higher ups). Additionally, the CEO would occasionally get uncomfortably close and would hold your hand through the office. The CEO would ask the recruiters if candidates were of certain ethnicities or sexualities to judge their performance. She was a pathological liar and would tell candidates they could get the job but would have to settle for a lesser pay.
