I joined as a HR. I had experience as HR business partner and was hired for the same role. After I got into the company, there was no proper policy or ethics which was followed. As a HR when you do not respect the policies and how can you expect rest of the employees to follow. Even when I had experience only as HRBP and I clearly mentioned it in interview, I was forced to hire people, to do a Naukri search without proper KT and there was no concept of talking to people and maintaining relationship with other employees, due to this the attrition is very high. 4 or 5 Employees exit every week and the reason is there is no interaction or understanding what employee wants. The HR team is very narrowly thinking personalities and does not allow any new joiners to groom . They do not want you to talk to any of the executive team as they are scared that you might build good relationship with the executive team and may effect their performance (narrow minded). When this is the case of the HR team, imagine how the employees can tell their concerns to the HR team. As I was witnessing it clearly it was very partial in getting their concerns sorted out. One who is a good friend of a HR , only their concerns are sorted out and the rest are least bothered. Upon all these there is no good infrastructure and located just beside the busiest road in Bangalore and work place is just above a complex and you do not have space for parking at all. No food provided in cafeteria and no good small hotels or restaurants nearby, you will have to rely on road side food. The management is of same language, and from same region and they think in a straight line. Not a good experience to work with them as well . As I needed leaves when my wife was carrying and she was admitted to hospital when the delivery date is nearby. I had told this to Mr Daragesh was a HR manager during the interview and he was fine. When my wife was admitted to hospital I went back home and I was made to come to office when my wife was in hospital alone just to give KT. I informed I am not able to come for next 5 days as my wife delivered a baby and had to be in hospital for 3 days and had to settle things. But when I came back a new person was already hired and also joined to replace me and I was told to leave. Do you think they respect your personal issues and understand your problems ?
