The recruiting process was long, but the recruiter was transparent and provided feedback shortly after each interview. Expectations for interviews were clear, and interviews were quickly scheduled. The pre-onboarding process went smoothly, as well. I received all required information and answers to my questions to help me make the decision to join Dataiku. The pre-onboarding team was proactive, sending me all documentation that needed to be completed well in advance of my start date. My computer arrived with clear instructions to set it up and get going. I started the onboarding training on my first day, which was thorough. I really appreciated the broad view, the specific CSM sessions, and the focus on Dataiku's culture. My manager was prepared with a new hire plan that clearly stated what she expected me to accomplish during my first 30, 60, 90 days. I was given a mentor and a buddy to help me get situated and feel supported. During the second week, I joined the company kick-off in person. Everything I heard and learned during the recruiting process was reiterated by leaders and associates alike. This was refreshing and reassuring! Overall, a great recruiting and onboarding experience.

Minpunten

During my first week, a reorg was announced. I found out that I would join a different team and report to a different manager. This was a bit of a shock, but I still received excellent support from the original team and hiring manager. The company is growing and changing. If you are not OK with change, Dataiku might not be a good fit.

it’s a job? i guess?

miserable to work here and the product is not strong. other giants in the industry are making this product redundant, and not worth the cost. features are not exciting to customers and they can easily complete the same objectives with other products who have longer standing credentials in the industry or by companies simply making similar functionalities themselves. its an uphill battle convincing any clients of the value of this, and its soul sucking to pedal AI all day. zero inspiration from leadership, huge eye roll every time they speak
