- Burnout, expect to do your job + others - Culture is diminishing. Layoffs, lack of transparency, general uneasiness is palpable. - Scaling is proving to be difficult, lack of vision and leadership changes - Lack of management training, ineffective managers - Low compensation, unless you are in sales - Frequent reorganizations without transparency - Lack of growth opportunities in most roles

With regard to your comment regarding the culture, company culture is an ever changing element and Dataiku's will continue to be influenced by many things. We encourage all Dataikers to share how they're feeling through our regular engagement surveys, with their Manager or with our Culture team, in order to shape the company culture into the future. Likewise, there are many reasons why turnover can change over time, particularly as a company evolves from start-up to scale-up. We have made and continue to make significant investments in our compensation infrastructure to ensure we offer competitive compensation and benefits globally. We also have a strong focus on developing trainings to enable our managers, both new and experienced, to be as impactful as possible with their teams. Finally, we regularly evaluate our structure and teams, and make the necessary changes to ensure we are operating with focus and efficiency. At times this may mean choosing to pause hiring for certain roles or, in some cases, making the difficult decision to remove certain roles from the business. Decisions to adjust our workforce are never taken lightly and always with the future needs of the business in mind. its just all cons these days

major culture shift and pressure on employees. The ship is going down and nobody can even admit its happening. I take daily calls for people that want to leave, but none of us can afford to leave and lose our equity.

it’s a job? i guess?

miserable to work here and the product is not strong. other giants in the industry are making this product redundant, and not worth the cost. features are not exciting to customers and they can easily complete the same objectives with other products who have longer standing credentials in the industry or by companies simply making similar functionalities themselves. its an uphill battle convincing any clients of the value of this, and its soul sucking to pedal AI all day. zero inspiration from leadership, huge eye roll every time they speak
