- Incredibly supportive, friendly, tight-knit staff - Great work/life balance. I haven't worked more than the required 37.5 hours/week since I started. - Low pressure, minimal office politics - Management is very open to new ideas - Management is good at finding opportunities for ambitious employees - The company invests heavily in R&D and makes a genuine effort to stay relevant - Lots of internal projects, so there's room to move around if/when you get bored - Really nice office space. - Decent pay and benefits for the area (but see Cons)

- Core product is ancient and hairy. - While the salary and benefits are on par for the area (see Pros), they are quite low compared to other areas of Canada and especially the United States. Annually raises and bonuses are mediocre. - A culture of unprofessional behavior. Swearing and crude language is considered acceptable. A few specific members are notorious for replying to company-wide emails with crude innuendos. - No parking. Employees must either find parking on the street (and constantly move their cars every 2 hours to avoid fines) or pay $120+/month to park in the parking garage.

Fairly flexible working hours, interesting work, reasonably relaxed environment. A lot of long term employees with lots of experience and knowledge. Most clients are long term stable accounts.

HR Department is handcuffed by Finance. Getting to be top heavy - 9 managers, 97 staff. Included in staff is a supervisor for every 4-6 people. Bringing in new projects is getting stifled with the overhead from the parent company. Staff attitude, particularly of a number of long term employees can be a bit negative and complacent.
