I absolutely loved my time working at DCI. The supervisors have been amazing and supportive. They respected me a lot and allowed me to have a say in what goes on with the kids as well which has made me feel very respected. The actual children I’ve worked with have been just a delight. Obviously in this field there are challenges. But when I’ve been faced with challenges I felt like the administrative side has definitely stepped in and helped me out. If I ever have any questions or concerns they were very prompt to respond and help me out. DCI has the perfect balance of independence but also structure and support. I have worked at many developmental agencies and I feel like this one is absolutely my favorite that I’ve had the opportunity to work with and I’ve stayed with them a long time because of that. The owner is fabulous and listened to any concerns I’ve ever had.

Honestly I can’t think of any, in this field there is a high turnover rate but that’s expected at any developmental company.

You are given opportunities to learn a lot as it is very fast paced.
