If you want to work in a stable, professional, and organized environment, Dopple is not the company for you. My mental health rapidly declined and hit rock bottom while employed here. Employees are burnt out, overworked and the benefits are abysmal. Every day is very chaotic and consists of working at warp speed, which leads to severe stress and anxiety for employees in a short amount of time. There are no raises or title changes, but you’re expected to continuously push the envelope, take on new projects that are way out of the scope of your role, and work as hard as you can with little reward or acknowledgment. If you work closely with the CEO, you will be extremely micromanaged. She is a textbook narcissist. She will scrutinize the way you write your emails, what time you send them, and constantly check in on what you are doing multiple times a day, then tell you that is not the right priority to focus on. When you try to communicate clearly and effectively you will be told she does not have time for you, and that your concerns are not of importance to her. She will make you feel crazy and shame you for bringing them up. Be prepared for her to gaslight you. Meetings often take up 30-40% of the day, and it can be really hard to get a solid amount of work done because of this. A lot of the time they’re highly unproductive and detrimental to employee motivation. There is no HR. This means no where to go when you feel you’re being treated unfairly or have worries that you don’t want to discuss directly with the CEO. Employee paychecks have been late by a week, or more, multiple times due to “delayed funds.” Regardless of the reason it’s ILLEGAL and unfair to hard-working employees who have bills to pay and families to support.
