I honestly don't know where to begin. The curriculum doesn't really keep the kids attention or has really bad pacing. Some drag on for WAY too long. The favorite games for the kids were ones that the other instructor and I altered because we didn't think they would work. We ended up having to do a lot of improv during the week.
Overall the communication throughout the company, unless you are in a higher position is god awful. No one ever answered the HR phone during business hours, emails took even longer to get answered, and there was no line of communication except for the person who was working at the same camp, and even then you cant get that until you get to the location. It took me nearly two weeks to even get in contact with someone about taking a day off, and even then I was required to take the entire week off.
Scheduling is a MAJOR issue for a lot of instructors. I was hired in what I believed to be a full-time position for the entire summer (June-August). I worked 1 full week, two half weeks (Morning or afternoon classes) and then had 6 FULL weeks with no schedule. week after week being informed that they either had to cancel the camps or couldn't put me on the schedule. Because of this, I haven't been able to pay my bills for half the summer until I scrambled to get a new position. On top of that, there were issues with payroll where some people didn't get paid for almost a full week after the payday, and one instance where there was an over pay on my first paycheck, which means they took the ENTIRETY of my second pay check.
I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.
