Location is in durham, NC. For people who love nature and outdoor activities, it's good place to stay. The professor is nice and living cost there is relatively low compared to other big cities such as SF.

Minpunten

Not too many technical job opportunities there, compared to Bay area. For city people, they may find it a little boring living in durham.

Minpunten

It depends on what area or department you work in. I worked at the Health Policy Center on the Education Team within Duke University and it was not a good environment to work in at all. Being at Duke is what made is better but within the health policy center, there were a lot of biases and politics that made is extremely challenging to be happy there.
