While the CEO of this company is super-smart and pro-active, he lives on the East coast and has no idea what really goes here. Actually, a big chunk of the employees don’t live here either. They reside in Wisconsin and fly in and pretend to be locals. So E2open has a real mid-western, uncreative, conservative work environment. The amount of unrestrained nepotism, rampant back stabbing and purposeful sabotage among co-workers is right out of a bad movie. Department heads berate employees in meetings about what they wear, their hairstyle/color or just call them names. The corporate culture not only reflects this but supports it. Be prepared for ‘face time’, an old-fashioned corporate dress code, no remote work options (except now but dang I bet that eats the C-class up that they can’t demand employees show up for 8am meets that have nothing to do with their jobs), puny raises and outdated benefits. Corporate rules are only enforced to the lower level employees and the seniors get to do as they like so be prepared that your annual review may happen 1 year late so while you are waiting for that raise you've been promised, it will be ‘in process’ until you find out you aren’t getting it at all. The day I drove out of the parking lot for the last time was one of the best days of my life.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. There are several misstatements in your post, and would like to add balance for any reader. First, most of the employees who work at the Corporate Office in Austin live in Austin. Your reference to employees living elsewhere speaks to E2open's practice of hiring the best and not limiting selection to a geography. You make strong claims and it would be been the right thing to speak up when you were employed. I have not observed nor has the HR North America field team ever been alerted to claims such as made in this post. Our environment is respectful and with open doors to voice concerns. Further, there is an anonymous hotline which is available to all employees to post concerns. It's unfortunate you did not take advantage of that at least to bring awareness to behaviors that are completely out of line for E2open. Such a claim would be investigated promptly. The dress code at E2open Austin is much like other Austin tech companies. It is casual yet professional. Annual reviews are done for all who are eligible. Even in this year of COVID, E2open held annual salary reviews and also issued annual bonus payments. Best to you in the future.
