Salary increase depends on successful assessment or participating in non-project acitivites and not your performance or experience. Many colleagues are so much involved in non-project activities that they don't care for their actual project enough and they can't do anything effectively at all. I had the impression these people are more interested in building their career and sucking up to management than actually being productive at work. Management is often unavailable. When you try to point out issues, no one is looking where you are pointing at even if it would serve their interest as well, instead you will be considered negative. Management tend to be more interested in focusing on the customers than on the employees. Bureaucracy is excessive and processes are slow. Team building budget has decreased a lot over the years.
