Pluspunten
Some of the people not in management were cool. Otherwise, no pros.
Minpunten
As someone else said in their review, it’s taken me a while to write this because I needed a lot of time to heal from the experience of working at Earth Day. I cannot overstate how toxic this work environment is. The president has deep anger issues which she lets out on anyone in her range of fire, for any reason at all, except for all of her family members (and their partners) she has hired and shows extreme favoritism for. I have never seen nepotism so deeply rooted and abused in a workplace before. Management have no idea what they’re doing, they’re unwilling to listen to their inferiors, they do not know how to communicate, and even take credit for work that is not their own. There was no guidance or support whatsoever, even if you asked for it. After I left, I found out the employee who I replaced made a little under double what I was making, despite the fact that I had years of experience in this field and he had none before working there. Is it because I’m a woman? Because I’m gay? I have no idea, but finding that out hurt. On paper, this was my dream job. I was supposed to be doing what I love and being a small piece of the solution. But all I got from this experience was clinical depression.
