Pluspunten
The employees at Edelson PC are some of the most intelligent people I have ever met in my life. They use their full force to fight for real justice and the country benefits constantly. Anyone employed there is genuinely lucky to get to work on these cases. The credit has to go to the CEO and Partners for establishing themselves so well that they can afford to work on these cases full time and not just in rare pro-bono scenarios. The pay and benefits are incredible. If you are someone who can take on a lot of independent responsibility, can problem solve well on your own, can handle longer hours, and can speak up for yourself, working at Edelson is an opportunity you should not turn down. Just be sure to cross your Ts and dot your Is, there is no room for forgiveness at this firm.
Minpunten
Some people in leadership can be toxic and manipulative, heavy on the gaslighting, while others aren't. Often, it stems from insecurity and stress. One will always cover their own a** before they protect you. They have a huge culture around this concept of a "lateral hierarchy" and being yourself, but that often means they don't set expectations and will fire you immediately if you don't meet the expectations you weren't told about. It's harder for the younger, less experienced employees than those who know how firms can be. Some managers are excellent teachers while others will set you up to fail over and over. It really does depend on who you work with.
