Mislead during interview about how many people held position previously and the real responsibilities of the position. Cold calling schools to promote classes. High turnover position. Micromanaging, expecting perfection, tense work environment.

Eduscape has been around for 10+ years and has never had a negative posting until two seemingly bitter former employees, one who we suspect was asked to leave, who were difficult to work with decided to unleash unmerited derogatory information about the Company. I've been employed by Eduscape for several years and have experienced the following: employees being treated like equal owners, receiving flowers and/or gift cards on their birthdays, getting a bottle of wine and restaurant gift card after a long stretch of travel or end of a project, the owner going out of his way to check in when a child or spouse(my) is ill. Hear a dog barking in the background? That's because they are dog friendly and it's fairly casual albeit intense with deadlines at times. There are p/t educators who have worked with the company for over 10 years and still enjoy the people and work, and are treated like their part of the family. Workwise, they try to stay on top of Edtech and the leadership always seems to be obsessed with making sure that innovation is meaningful. The Company has some really great partners in companies and nonprofits who contract them to run their training. I've been treated with respect and always offered new challenges. The Company's various partnerships allow for good diversity of work, it's rarely boring.....

Not seeing remote co-workers as often There are real busy stretches during certain times of the year that you have to make sure your prepared for.... (extra coffee!) Would like to attend more conferences as a learner instead of presenter

The only good reason to work at this company are the coworkers. As other reviews have stated, most of your coworkers will be intelligent, kind, and hardworking.

High turnover Poor Management No upward feedback Management will creative narratives about you, which will become their reality and perception of you despite evidence to the contrary Management will gossip about you to others on the team constantly There is no accountability for any of the partners Management will consistently make gross errors but nitpick any small mistake made by employees Everything is an emergency - there is never any planning ahead The on site team is constantly stressed. Remote members can regularly expect "urgent" notifications between 2-4am Management has questionable ethics
