They pay minimum wage and in the first week you only work for one hour a day from 8:30am to 9:30am. Once you go through the training at home(not paid) you start working in store. You have to drive to various stores all across Ottawa and even as far as Brockville all at your own expense, no compensation for gas or driving time. At the end of the day you have to drive back to the office with your remaining stock. So if you work in the Brockville store you have to drive to the office, pick up stock, drive to Brockville, then back to the office then home... for someone who doesn't live close to the office that's a huge waste of time. They also call every night as a control tactic, to the point where I was out for dinner for my birthday and my "team leader" wouldn't let me off the phone but just asked stupid questions like how was your shift today? How do you feel about it? Over and over... after that I had no interest in ever going back.
