Pluspunten

Some of the kindest people and coworkers, and they made the cons worth staying for a while. Certain people, who were not billable and bonus-restrained employees, really seem to care.

Minpunten

The upper management changes were so erratic and sketchy within this past year that many more were tiptoeing around, scared to mention anything to certain people, because the contractor vs. contractor competition for showing our “worthiness” was completely unnerving. Within several years I answered to 6 different reports, and the support dwindled to near nonexistent. Eventually, due to the pressure of some private equity higher-up management decisions, a narcissistic foul and cold “hatchet-man” was reshuffled over us to eliminate many valued people, reduction in force, same-day separation with zero heads-up. There was no value to often cancelled one-on-one meetings, because none of the points led to differences, and the Manager monopolized the time with pointless anecdotes. At no time in my career have I ever felt that a company segment changed moods and culture so quickly. Please, if you value a good culture, of support and compassion for real-life events, remove Epicor off of your list.

Effective manager-employee communication is critical, and we have conduction People Manager Workshop across the global (in-person and virtually) to ensure we are continuously working to strengthen leadership practices and accountability.

Pluspunten

It’s been a really positive experience working at Epicor. I’ve had the chance to work on meaningful roles, partner closely with great teams, and continue learning along the way. The people here make a big difference—there’s a strong sense of collaboration, and it feels like everyone is working toward the same goals. Overall, it’s been a place where I’ve been able to grow and actually enjoy the day-to-day.

Like any company in a growth stage, things can move quickly at times, which can come with its challenges—but this is something Leadership is aware of and being cautious about.

- It is easy to fade into the background if you don't have a center-stage role, you need to step up to make yourself visible; otherwise, you're at risk of career and reward stagnation - Like most companies, cost and timing are major contributing factors when deciding on the tools leadership make generally available to individual contributors - you're bound to be disappointed if you expect to have the latest and greatest of everything without first providing a value proposition to a senior leader. Be ready to invest personal time building use cases and gathering data to make strong cases for solutions you think will add value to your team and have a positive impact on the organizational strategy
