Looks great on resume and you do get some good experience. I got to brainstorm, plan and execute all things events and was great experience.

Although good experience, I didn't do exactly what i interviewed for and was not told exactly what I was doing until it was time.

Pay can be decent for management. Some labor workers are paid somewhat decent hourly wages.

No real benefits and long hours. The very few benefits they do have are not affordable at all. No 401k. Low pay and very hard labor work for the contract employees. The environment is really not professional at all. There is a culture of fear and intimidation. This starts with the owners and works its way down to management. They tend to let go of the good Managers and keep the bad ones. Some people in management are petty and some of them just flat out lie about others because they don't like them or they are intimidated by them. I have seen managers make up lies and get employees or managers fired and get away with it.This is a place of fear for the employees. There is no accountability for hostile management or employees. The owners are OK with demeaning employees and calling them out of their names.
