My co-workers and managers were some of the most talented, knowledgeable people I have ever worked with. The pay was pretty good.

There are too many to name, honestly. Read through all of the negative reviews and understand that they are all accurate descriptions of what it is like to work for Evolve. Upper management has created an extremely toxic and stressful workplace environment. As I stated previously, there are too many cons to list them all but these will give you an idea: micromanagement, mulitple shift bids per year, constant changes in SOPs and metrics, fear of losing your job at any time (multiple RIFs, downsizing and consistent firings of multiple people at once), metrics that are very difficult to reach, back-to-back calls from angry guests and owners and not enough time given to resolve issues, not enough staff to handle the workload, no clear path to growth opportunities, and the list goes on. I am a positive person who can handle stressful, escalated situations in high performance positions. However, this company's culture of constant change and upheaval, that they dress up as high performing and obsessed with customers, creates a whole new level of stress and workplace dissatisfaction. As someone else mentioned in another review, they are actually asking people to come here and leave a good review to try and balance all the negative reviews that have been left. When they say on their own career site that it is not for everyone, believe them.

Nearly five years at Evolve, which speaks for itself. The role has had its ups and downs, but overall it’s provided meaningful opportunities to grow as a people leader and build a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. Strong emphasis on learning through real experience, not just titles. Leaders are trusted to make decisions, take ownership, and drive improvements. Managing people here is engaging, challenging, and rewarding. There’s consistent support from peers and leadership, which makes coaching, problem-solving, and team development sustainable. Evolve genuinely values flexibility, making it possible to perform at a high level long-term without burning out. Fast-paced but supportive environment with opportunities to build real relationships and grow a career over time.

Minpunten

As a fast-growing company, Evolve often moves quickly, which can mean frequent changes and evolving priorities. Occasionally, the pace of execution can make it challenging to fully assess the downstream impact on teams and processes before moving forward. Flexibility and adaptability are important, as not everything is fully defined from the start.

Wonderful teammates that quickly become the only reason you stick with Evolve, outside of a steady paycheck.

Too many to list truly. This company is grasping at straws to survive in the short-term vacation rental industry; despite being manhandled at every turn by "partner" companies such as Airbnb. The company is literally always changing the goal post and then blaming the frontline team for not meeting their insane expectations. You will deal with multiple shift bids during the year, mainly to follow their random firing/layoffs that they wish to keep quiet. Constant system changes, staff changes and new responsibilities that are often rushed and not yet ready to be implemented, and an incredible lack of care from leadership. Nonexistent training for all of the new responsibilities you will take on after the layoff of an important team. By the time I left in April 2026, I had taken on partner services, guest support, owner support, listing optimization, booking management, damage claims for substantial incident reports and more. All of which you are expected to complete with back to back inbound calls to uphold the "customer-obsession" role. When they have decided to put you and at least 5 other teammates on the same chopping block, they will claim you were "avoiding work" or "on a call too long" to avoid any accountability for the drastic amount of issues at this company. I have had 7 MANAGERS within a 3.5 year span. If you absolutely have to work here, the only way to get through it is to completely disassociate and be sure to use your 10 EAP sessions...
