Variety of work is good. Allowed to take responsibility and manage own workload. Friendly and helpful colleagues. 9+ years with Exception and had lots of opportunities to learn and develop. Very flexible in approach resulting in the minimum of red tape to get in the way.

No real downsides to working at Exception (unless you want a job that is perfectly described and 'boxed' - the nature of our work leans towards a flexible attitude).

Poor business planning, directors are quite old and just seem to want to milk the company for dividends, no coherent business development plan, very tight with money, poor salary reviews (I got 2.5% when inflation was 13%)
