You could never balance a real life and a work life. You'd be called even if you were scheduled off. The owner plays favorites; and will fire people on the drop of a dime if owner doesn't feel you are learning fast enough. Owner feels you should learn the games and know the entire store inside and out within 3 days or you don't belong working there. Owner has been known to pay certain employees under the table and not others. The games don't work all the time and owner knows this, and is okay with giving another game that does work as a payment instead of a refund. Owner rarely comes into certain locations, owner's idea is to open up many exit games and let them essentially run themselves. No direction, no leadership and the turn over rate is so high - literally; they have a list of over 40 employees who have been let go or used to work there. No one essentially really knows what they are doing. Its not a long term job, you wouldn't want to be there long term. Owner doesn't care about your opinion of the store and what could be better.
