The owner is incredibly insecure, and often takes out his insecurities on his employees. The reason they request entry-level employees for open positions is so they do not have to pay well, yet still demand 50+ hour workweeks. Another thing they did not mention upon my hiring was that other benefits, such as insurance, wouldn't kick in until well over half a year. Only one week of paid time off. The owner tries to pit workers against each other because he believes this is "healthy competition" that will increase sales. This was a terrible work experience, and sadly, most of the workers who are still there are very dissatisfied with their job and are too afraid to say anything for fear of losing their job. Not a lot of room to move up because the company is so small and constrained by a backward business model. I saw through LinkedIn that the number one sales manager recently left, so outlook for this company to continue to thrive isn't looking positive, as he sold nearly 100% of their clients.
