At lower levels, there is a good deal of advancement opportunity. The discount is great and benefits are pretty good as well for this type of job. If you love talking to people and building customer relationships, this is the job for you.
Minpunten
While selling should be a key part of the business, it should not come at the expense of customer service. Selling expectations are blanketed across the board for all levels AM and lower, which is absurd, because as a manager you are not supposed to get fully involved in sales (pass it to an associate). Once you hit Store Manager, unless you are fully open to relocation (FULLY open - moving across multiple states), you can get stuck in the same store forever. Also, the DM's involvement in helping establish a management staff is very minimal - you are expected to use your rare time off to go recruit and find somebody.
