Pluspunten
I enjoyed working with dedicated and talented peers who cared about the client and each other. I liked the annual Steps Challenge, flexible schedules, hybrid work model, and company apparel.
Minpunten
The cons about First Onsite point to senior leadership, particularly the U.S.-based C-suite and Presidents East and West. 1. There is a lack of stewardship for the financial health of the company as seen by not cutting outrageous spending on fleet vehicles, sales meetings, and inconsistent pay/bonus structures. Recently over 200 employees were cut in lieu of expense reduction. 2. Most of the senior leaders are not truly aligned with the strategic vision for growth; rather than doing what is best and what is right for the company, they are more concerned with their own respective agenda. The leaders work against each other rather than working with each other. 3. The company prides itself on caring for their employees, but the reality is different. Culture, development, recognition, and pay for performance are not consistent. The culture is one where disrespectful and unprofessional behaviors (yelling, counter productive dialogue about other leaders and employees, and not following company policies) goes unaddressed.
