Opportunity to learn a lot! Opportunities to work cross-functionally with employees from Austin, US and global. Communication is open and fairly transparent. There is support from senior leadership at the site. Additionally, CEO (Revathi Advaithi) in San Jose, CA is very smart, progressive and inclusive.

Many salaried positions work very long hours in order to meet ramp, production and shipping goals. Workload can be very stressful due to limited resources. Burn out is possible, so self care and strong boundaries are important. Flex-developed software systems are not always highly functioning or well supported, which slows down work or creates rework. It can be frustrating. Because of the fast pace and limited resources, the organization is often reactive instead of proactive. This may be improving now. Salaried employees took a significant pay cut for 6 months during the pandemic, while continuing to work. (Although it is better than a layoff, it was a tough pill to swallow.) Site senior leadership is a little "cliquish".
