The students are friendly and motivated. You are able to prepare the lessons any way you want.

Minpunten

Check most recent reviews. Many mention how management cut pay 25% at the end of 2022. If you live in the US or many Western European countries, you will earn more working at McDonalds. They also killed the tutor community by eliminating Slack. This may be about saving money, but probably they were just afraid of tutors talking to one another. Lots of good tutors have left because of pay cut.

Pluspunten

- Decent pay if on B2B, not amazing but competitive for online tutoring. - Nice quality students. If on the B2B programme it's mainly Italian corp market, if B2C a variety of students from all over the world and all walks of life. - Stimulating, interesting conversations form part of your day to day work life. - Great in terms of human connection - a soulful job in the online remote sphere, which can lack that. - Completely flexible in terms of schedules - Nice and trusting management - You never feel micro-managed - Fully remote in the true sense of the word, you manage your schedule as you wish - If you're good at what you do and work on the B2B programme within Central European working hours, you are likely to be booked up most of the time - Room for creativity and freedom in terms of curriculum and lesson content

Minpunten

- If on B2C, it's not reliable in terms of bookings, you have to do test sessions for free or for a very low rate, and thus salary not adequate (in my opinion). - Technically self-employed and freelance thus no sick pay, no holiday pay or extra benefits, which can make it precarious as a full-time option - Biggest con is there is no growth regarding salary, even if you perform very well. Once you are on B2B, there are no options regarding raises or promotions. - Monthly bonuses, while better than nothing, are negligible. Over the course of a year even when hitting all your targets working full time and getting maximum scores on every level, it would add up to would be less than 500 euros total, and like I said, that would be if you hit all targets over the course of a year of full time work, which is unlikely even for top performers) - Month of August very quiet if on B2B programme (this is due to Italian corporations all taking holiday at the same time) - Feedback forms take time, which is unpaid, thus you work quite a lot more hours than you are paid for

Flexibility, very little off-the-clock work needed.

Minpunten

Low pay, bad management, not enough students, and generally the company seems to be in decline, losing contracts, expect more cuts in the future.
