All of the engineers at Form Bio are exceptional. They are some of the smartest, friendliest, and helpful engineers I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
Minpunten
- The executive leadership team is lacking. Company initiatives seem to change weekly. Multiple times I worked on a project that was portrayed as vital to the success of the company, only for it to be scrapped or sidelined a week later for something else. - Poor sales leading to company uncertainty. Executives openly admitted that they did not gage market interest for what the company was building, and in doing so, closed far fewer deals than what the company anticipated. This lead to multiple people in engineering losing their jobs (including me) as well as an overall sense of unhappiness from leadership. - Employees are viewed as expendable and, quite frankly, just a number. After uneasiness from leadership, many employees questioned if we should be concerned about layoffs, and we were told repeatedly, no, there's no reason to be concerned. They then laid off numerous engineers in the coming weeks. It also doesn't seem that they considered any other options before resorting to laying people off. Reflecting back, it seems quite clear that leadership values the bottom line over anything else, specifically their employees livelihood and happiness.
