Minpunten
-lack of time and money invested in training -the person training me wasn’t even in the office half of the time and was training me virtually -there was no set training objectives/expectations provided to me -majority of the training was learned based on trial and error -when asked what I could improve on I was told “it’s one of those jobs that you have to make mistakes to really learn” but then was then later let go due to the mistakes I was making. -the person training me was still responsible for her own job duties throughout the time that she was training me. It would have been more beneficial if they took more time to directly train you for at least 4- 6 hours for the first few weeks -there were often times where there was no work for me to do and I would just be sitting there for hours staring at my computer screen -luckily I negotiated my salary way above what they were offering (the offering salary is definitely not worth it) -they are constantly hiring for this specific position (goes to show that the training is inadequate and so they tend to let people go within the probationary period. Surely, everyone they hire is not incompetent, they just lack the necessary tools to really thrive in this role)
