Pluspunten
There were a lot of great people who have worked there but most all have left, many this year due to the new ownership.
Minpunten
Since new ownership took over in January the culture has changed drastically. I encourage any new prospective employees to research the Brazilian business culture. It is 180 degrees opposite of what Americans are used too. They do not Trust any of their employees , there is absolutely zero communication from senior level management to the employees. They encourage their managers to micromanage their employees. No goals and objectives have been communicated to the workforce. They do not want anyone to have business relationships with vendors. It is the lowest cost on everything (goods and services) period. The senior management at this facility recently inherited their positions based on attrition. They do not have adequate experience to run an operation like this . The turnover rate especially in production and materials management departments is very high. This is a 24 hour 7 day a week operation and their is no work life balance. If you are involved in the operation it is a very demanding work environment.. This company is in the produce business which is one of the toughest industries to work in and then on top of that add in the drastic culture change being fostered by the new ownership/management all adds up to be a very challenging work environment. Again Buyer Beware, please do your research and homework on this company before making any employment decisions. This company is still in the midst of transition and I do not see the culture changing anytime soon.
