Pluspunten

Over the past 3 years, Frontier Mining has undergone a remarkable transformation. The culture has shifted from reactive to proactive, with leadership investing heavily in transparency, accountability, and team empowerment. Weekly manager retreats, innovation sessions, and recognition programs have created a more collaborative and motivated environment where everyone feels heard and valued. Operationally, the infrastructure is now built for stability and scalability. From the deployment of Power BI dashboards and AI-driven cost analysis to the creation of proprietary remote support systems and productivity models, Frontier has positioned itself as a leader in Integrated Facility Management (IFM). The company’s approach to reverse-engineering productivity metrics and streamlining repair workflows has dramatically improved uptime and reduced costs. What truly sets Frontier apart is its unwavering commitment to safety. Safety isn’t just a checkbox—it’s embedded in every decision. Weekly OSHA-certified training sessions, rigorous audits, and a centralized record-keeping system ensure compliance and preparedness across all sites. The Network Operations Center (NOC) even monitors safety remotely and can alert first responders when needed. If you're looking for a company that values innovation, operational excellence, and the well-being of its people, Frontier Mining is the place to be.

Minpunten

While Frontier Mining has made impressive strides in culture and infrastructure, it's important to recognize that Bitcoin remains a relatively new and volatile market. Regulatory uncertainty, price fluctuations, and evolving technology standards can create operational challenges. The company is navigating these complexities well, but the nature of the industry means that adaptability and resilience are essential. Teams must stay agile and informed as the landscape continues to shift.

Pluspunten

4 days on 3 days off is a great benefit. Good work environment and most of the people are friendly. little drama most of the time. Learn various tech skills.

Minpunten

Upper management only care about profits, Very little room to be promoted even if you make a genuine effort, unless you have prior tech experience, Good place if you're a complacent person

Pluspunten

Honestly, the pros of working here are the site managers. All the site managers I have worked for and interacted with have been nothing but kind, understanding, and care for their employees.

Minpunten

1.) No paid holidays/no time and half pay 2.) Hypocritical and toxic upper management above site managers. 3.) Promised many benefits, given little to none. 4.) Overnight changes to PTO/Sick time (how much is given to you, some employees now have less time off for their anniversary date as well as no carrying over PTO). 5.) Discouraged from using PTO/Sick Time. 6.) Point system done ineffectively (example: for the location I work in, there’s constant wreck debris, construction tools such as giant nails, horrible drivers, so wrecks are quite common and there are at least 3 people I know who have gotten into a wreck in 2023 and many more who have had tire blow outs and flats at least weekly. Instead of showing grace for those who are attempting to come in, though about 30-60 min late, you get 1 point regardless. Some people have multiple points only because of car problems that have been proven to be true. 4 points is a warning, 7 points is immediate termination. When a point system is executed effectively, including showing some grace for those who already live where roads are not efficient, it can be wonderful.) 7.) Upper management uses others jobs as collateral. 8.) Not appreciated for rough conditions employees have worked in. 9.) Low morale across the sites in state I reside in. 10.) Promised 5 day work weeks 8 hours a day, instead moved to 24/7 shifts. 10 hours a day. 11.) Horrible internet/service connection, therefore resulting in unable to clock in/out on time from website, people have gotten in trouble or lectured over it although it is out of their control. There’s many many more cons, but that’s what I can think of while sleep deprived.
