- Team environment generally manageable and not overly busy. - Exposure to real project workflow as an intern. - Some flexibility was initially allowed with working hours when tasks were completed.

Minpunten

Internship experience highlighted significant inconsistency in supervision and communication. Working hours and break times were initially communicated as flexible (including being told it was fine to leave at 5pm if tasks were done and to follow the team’s general timing). However, close to the end of the internship, expectations suddenly shifted to stricter hours (8:30am–5:30pm with shorter breaks), and I was singled out as the only intern “coming late and leaving early,” which did not reflect the earlier instructions given. The abrupt change in standards and lack of clear, consistent guidance created unnecessary tension and made the environment feel unfair. Future interns would benefit from supervisors aligning expectations from day one and applying them consistently across the team.

Pluspunten

No Pros because they only provide basic salaries starting RM3K for Engineer. Benefit AIA, but need to pay and claim. A few more benefit but not much from other Public Listed Company in Malaysia.

Minpunten

Toxic Management - Especially in GAMUDA IBS and GAMUDA Engineering Long hours working without OT - If you working more than 8 hours per day, in paper you can claim, but reality your bosses will sigh and curse at you if you claim the OT. Gossip everywhere in office - You cannot tell anything about personal life even your boss because another day everyone will know n judging you. Manager, Senior - Junior Executive working in SILO Do not ever ask the job because the bosses will give you every single job until you regret it. If you licking the bosses doesnt means bosses will promote you. But if you doesnt licking the bosses, your name in their routine list to be gossip. Property old school especially in Damansara, PJ - ventilation very bad, many staff always sick but still working. I dont know they are scared to take Medical Leave or no common sense. The virus easily transferred to others due to bad ventilation. Racism and bad attidude from Managers & HOD - The bosses always curse at their subordinates until their staff mental breakdown - They always give opportunity new project to their own race. No equality here eventho you perform your job.
