In product development team: The management is highly egoistic and actively works against the best interest of the company and the employees. Routine use of profanities from the management and yelling at employees was shocking. The project management is ineffective, as a result I witnessed emotional blackmail to keep designers/developers working on Friday evening. The company is run more like a school where the managers are teachers. Some c-suite people (not the CEO) abuse their power to get their way. The combination of these is very toxic. Many times I was genuinely shocked at seeing how my colleagues and me were yelled. My team, as well as other teams that I saw, were trying their best in spite of this, but most of my colleagues worked in fear and were too scared to speak up.
