I had a disappointing experience with the hiring process at [Company Name]. After completing the initial interview, I was told by the hiring manager that I had moved on to the second round and would be contacted shortly to schedule it. Unfortunately, that was the last I ever heard from them. Despite following up multiple times via email over the course of several weeks, I received no response—no update, no explanation, not even a generic rejection. It’s extremely unprofessional to tell candidates they’re moving forward and then ghost them entirely. This kind of treatment shows a lack of respect for applicants’ time and energy, especially when candidates are making room in their schedules and investing in preparation. A simple “no longer moving forward” would have sufficed. If this is any indication of how internal communication is handled, I’d be hesitant to consider this company in the future.
