Pluspunten

Flexible work hours. A few very smart and hard working people, they produce the bulk of the workload. The majority seem to work hard at getting out of work and getting drunk in the office. Beer pong at work... seriously... Driving home from work after getting drunk at work. Seriously... Some may think that this is a good thing...

Minpunten

The funny thing is, Management at GPJ Austin knows that the CEO of GPJ reads the reviews on this site. Take a close look at the positive reviews about the Austin office. It sure sounds like Austin management is writing their own positive reviews to try and offset all the negative reviews. They almost read like a bullet point presentation from a motivational speaker. Now I can’t say that they all are written by management, but I would bet my last dollar that most of them are written by the management team, they just seem to be empty of emotion. So, instead of trying to fix problems, management seems to be trying to hide them. If I am right, it says a lot about the management team in Austin. If I am wrong, it still says a lot about the management team as well. Why? because the fact that I would even consider that management could be capable of doing such a thing should tell you how little they are trusted by not only me, but most people still in that office. I will absolutely beg the CEO to take a close look at the turnover rate at the branch in Austin. Please try to get a real picture of the problem there and please do what you can to help them. They truly have no one to turn to for help! Please, there has to be some changes made. All of the good employees have left or they are looking for jobs. The question has to be asked, WHY?! Why do people leave a company? Is it money? Is it lack of support? Is it lack of training? Is it dishonesty from management? Is it a lack of trust in management? Do employees feel confident that they are treated fairly? Do employees feel confident in talking to management or H.R. about an issue? Do the employees trust that H.R. and management will take the issue seriously? Do employees trust Management and H.R. to keep the issue confidential, or will it be on the evening news as to what was said, who it was said about and who said it? At most companies you can expect that some of these issues would be a reason for quitting your job or seeking employment elsewhere. But at GPJ Austin, these problems are systemic and growing to the point of losing a lot more great and hard working employees. Failing to address these issues and other issues not listed are the reasons for the high turnover rate and will continue to be the reason for the high turnover rate until it is addressed and actually fixed. I would challenge all employees still working at GPJ Austin to add their concerns on this site. Why? Because it is completely anonymous and you can be completely honest without fear of retribution from management. Maybe then someone will HELP and make some desperately needed changes. I know I am not the only one who was/is desperate for help and change. Please people at GPJ Austin. Make your voices heard so something good will finally happen. I see how good GPJ as a company can be, it just doesn’t seem like the Austin branch cares about its employees as much as it cares about its own management team from top to bottom. In closing, all accusations leveled against the Austin branch above are not made in a vacuum. There are cases in that office for every concern listed from multiple employees, past and present, and also for the concerns I did not list. It’s just shows you, the reader, that confidential information flows like a river through that office. It can also be said that retribution is handed out to those who dare to voice concerns to management. So be careful what you say to management or you will be harshly dealt with in one form or another and everything you say will be repeated to subordinates. Sincerely, Desperate for help
