The opportunity to meet amazing clients is outstanding. Development of relationship selling that can be utilized later and in other careers. Selling luxury items in a beautiful store is also nice. 401k, vacation, and insurance. Other perks include uniforms and employee discount.
Minpunten
Little work/life balance. Store management is usually a joke, I worked under several managers that didn't have a clue what they were doing and did nothing to support the business or needs of the staff. Almost no opportunity for advancement. Management should support the selling staff, keep them happy and they will support the business. They can make it or break it.
