Customer Service Pro (CSP) front desk role does basic duties like answer phone, manage appointments and payments, make coffee, etc. Can get hectic during high activity weeks. Must balance lots of duties at the same time with great service that is tested by mystery shoppers.
Minpunten
Low, low pay is really minimum wage. Hourly increase only 25 cents per hour a year. Seasonal part-time work is during tax season February to mid-April. Hours reduced during less active weeks sometimes only working 5 hours. Tax preparers beg for more CSP help, but budget keeps that from happening, even with a strong need for CSP to be on-site. Total hours kept to a minimum - they say to stay in budget - but intent is to keep hours low so they can avoid unemployment when season ends that is permitted in some states for seasonal workers.
